About American Foam Cast
American Foam Cast was founded in Sylacauga, Alabama, in 1997 to focus solely on producing aluminum lost foam castings. Lost foam casting is our specialty, and we offer everything you need for this type of manufacturing process right here under our roof, including lost foam casting design evaluation, foam, and glue tooling design and build thanks to our partners, lost foam casting and foam pattern development, and flexibility to accommodate changing production demands for our customer.
A facility built around lost foam casting
Our initial 25,000-square-foot facility was purpose-built for lost foam casting and expanded to include an additional 30,000 square feet in 2002. This allowed us to add new capabilities such as foam pattern production in-house. Today, our business employs 45 individuals and five degreed engineers specializing in the lost foam process.
